Hannah Hunter, Associate PsychologistCandidate Register

Hannah Hunter is a Psychologist (Candidate Register) with the Nova Scotia Regulators in Psychology (NSRP). She holds a Master of Arts in School Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University, as well as a Bachelor of Education. Her combined training in psychology and education gives her a strong foundation for understanding both clinical practice and the unique dynamics of school environments.

In addition to her work at Crossroads, Hannah works with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education, where she supports children and youth with a range of academic, behavioural, and social-emotional needs.

Hannah provides comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, with a particular focus on clarifying learning and attentional concerns. These assessments are designed to identify each child’s strengths and challenges, and to explore factors that may be affecting learning and performance. She uses this information to develop clear, practical, evidence-based recommendations tailored to each child and family.

Hannah takes a collaborative, family-centred approach and values working closely with parents, educators, and other professionals. Her goal is to make the assessment process supportive, informative, and helpful in guiding next steps for success at home and at school.

Hannah offers evening and weekend appointments.
