In spring 2024, Crossroads moved into a new, purpose-built home in the Kingswood area of Hammonds Plains — an inviting, confidential space with on-site parking and easy access, without the downtown commute.
What We’re Looking For
We’re primarily looking for a psychologist who wants couples counselling to be the core of their practice — someone trained in an evidence-based couples modality (e.g., Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, or similar) who’s excited to build a caseload of couples clients from Hammonds Plains, Bedford, Sackville, Halifax, and Dartmouth.
We welcome applications from:
- Registered Psychologists (NSBEP) with couples/relationship therapy training or experience
- Psychologists on the Candidate Register with an interest in specializing in couples work
- Psychologists relocating to Nova Scotia who want to build a couples-focused caseload from the ground up
While couples counselling is the focus of this hire, we’re happy to talk with strong candidates whose practice includes individual or family work alongside it.
