Her time on the front lines of emergency response has given her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by first responders and healthcare professionals. Joanna specializes in supporting adults including first responders, healthcare workers, and individuals dealing with trauma-related stress, including PTSD, burnout, anxiety, and depression. Background

Joanna Lockhart holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She integrates various therapeutic modalities, including Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is also working toward a Therapeutic Arts Practitioner Certification. Joanna believes creativity can be a powerful tool for healing. For clients who find it hard to express their emotions with words, creative methods can complement traditional talk therapy.
