Psychological Counselling & Educational Assessments Halifax

Therapy Session Fees:

Our fees are in alignment with the rates set by the Association of Psychologists in Nova Scotia (APNS) for registered psychologists.

  • Psychologist fees for Individual Counselling Sessions are $225/hr
  • Psychologist fees for Couples or Family Sessions are $245/hr
  • Therapist fees for Individual Counselling Sessions are $175/hr
  • Therapist fees for Couples or Family Sessions are $190/hr
  • Practicum Student fees for all sessions are $25/hr

Payments are accepted in the form of credit card or through e-transfer.

Missed Appointments:
Please note that any appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours (1 business day) notice will be billed to the client at the full rate of the scheduled services. Cancellation notification for a Monday appointment needs to be received by 12pm on Friday.

The Missed Appointments policy is needed due to the loss of paid work time for the psychologist. If the psychologist doesn’t get the opportunity to reschedule, they lose out on potential earnings.
